Guy's Big Bite cookware

A reader asked recently, "What kind of cookware does Guy Fieri use on Guy's Big Bite?" I didn't know, so I contacted the Food Network and got an answer. Thank you Food Network!

The brand he uses is Demeyere - the frying pans are "ProLine" and everything else is "Atlantis."

I can not say that Guy Fieri specifically asks for this brand, nor can I say he didn't. But it's what you'll see on the show.

To see Demeyere's full line of products, visit www.demeyere-cookware.com.

Demeyere Atlantis Cookware uses 18/10 stainless steel construction with a highly polished, silver-white Silvinox® finish. Prices range from $100 to $300, depending on the piece.

Demeyere ProLine Fry Pans come in four standard frying pan sizes (7.9", 9.4", 11.0", 12.6") and one crêpe pan (8.7") with lower sides. The 11-inch and 12.6-inch frying pan includes a helper handle. Deyemere's complete line of fry pans can be found here.

Does anyone know if Guy has his own cookware in the works? I would be interested in buying cookware with his name on it. Kind of like the Rachel Ray line.

Anon 8:59, at this time, the answer is no. However, if Guy does develop or endorse a line of cookware, 2010 would be a good year for it.

He is scheduled to be at the International Home and Housewares Show, Chicago, March 14 - 16, 2010. http://www.housewares.org/ That appearance may just be for his Ergo Chef Knives, or there may be more to it than that. In either case, there has been no formal announcement about cookware.

I'll ask a few questions about it and see what I can turn up.
