Meet Guy Fieri at Dillard's near Dallas, TX

Guy Fieri is going where he's never gone before without his wife: Dillard's housewares department. (Oh, I jest!) Locals in the Dallas, TX area can meet and greet Chef Guy Fieri, have their picture taken with Guy, plus get their Knuckle Sandwich Knives personally autographed at Guy's first-ever department store appearance.

Date: This Friday, November 5th, 2010

Time: 4:30-6:00 p.m. Arrive early to purchase a knife for the signing!

Place: Dillard’s North East Mall, 1101 Melbourne Road, near Dalas in Hurst, TX 76053 – in the Housewares Department - website

Students from The Texas Restaurant Association's ProStart program will be on site, preparing Guy Fieri’s Hong Kong Noodle recipe and serving tastes of the dish to guests. It's a fan favorite and worth the trip to the mall just for a bite. We promise.

Moreover, a DJ will be spinning rockin' tunes for an afternoon to remember.

Guy has been a proud supporter of ProStart for years, featuring a San Diego ProStart competition in the Food Network special, "Top of the Class," and by engaging ProStart students all over the country as assistants in his 2009 Guy Fieri Road Show.

RC Hale from the Texas Restaurant Association will keep the rest of us up to date, on-site, during the event from Twitter, via @TX_ProStart. "The students, educators and of course yours truly very excited!" As are we!
