BEWARE! My family and I attended the Ace of Cakes event last year and were terribly dissapointed by the unethical way we were treated by the show promoters, America's Best Food Events. After overcharging us by $160 (!!) they refused to speak with me in person at the event, by phone after the event (I left several very polite messages) or by email. I spoke with the main person, Mary Carter, today and she hung up on me and told me they would not be issuing a refund. She did not want to hear anything about the fact that we signed up for $35 tickets and were charged for four $75 tickets instead. All we want is the difference - we attended the event and enjoyed it, but were overcharged. Any ethical company will at least speak to a customer and try to resolve a situation like this. ABFEvents ignored us, hoping they could get away with it and that we'd go away. Please be careful in your dealings with this company! Next, I will be filing a complaint online with the Better Business Bureau and exploring what other options I have, including filing a small claims lawsuit if required.
