Guy Fieri to be keynote speaker at San Diego food event

From August 3 - 6, 2009 at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort & Spa in San Diego, California, The Flavor Experience is a food event for professionals in the restaurant community in an attempt to address the decreased number of diners in American restaurants.
Flavor is what dining-out guests of all ages look for at a restaurant – any size, segment, or price point. They want their drinks and meals to look great, taste great, and not be just like the same menu item at the place down the street. It’s not about a coupon or a prize…it’s about the FLAVOR!

This event is not for the general public. Organizers are inviting restaurant chain operators at the corporate level, hotels, casinos, cruise ship companies and the like. Registration costs are $495 to $1,995 per person. Guy Fieri is The Flavor Experience headliner, scheduled to speak "on Cocktails and Culinary" on the morning of Wednesday, August 5, 2009 from 10:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Guy wanted to return to The Flavor Experience to “do more." ... (he) has a vast array of market information and experience to share. Guy will continue the interactive audience chat he began last year, share more of his observations about food, beverage, and flavor, and then cook it up and shake it up, cocktail style with audience members on stage.
