Guy Fieri in Cincinnati for Triple D

Guy Fieri is scheduled to be in Cincinnati, Ohio, for Diners, Drive-ins and Dives this week: March 15 - 18, 2010. Security is rather tight on locations, but we're beginning to get word on what restaurants Guy Fieri will visit in Cincinnati.

  1. Why is it odd that there is a stop in Northern KY? That is one of the most happenin' areas of our fine city these days.

  3. Anon 8:07, sorry! Didn't mean to dis No. KY> :) It's just that I'd heard Cincinnati, and hadn't heard that the show would travel to a nearby state. That's the only reason why I said it was "odd." Really, it just took me by surprise. :)

Christy in TN, you might want to read this blog post? And if you know of any TN locations scheduled on the shoot, contact the restaurant management there to see if you can participate.

  4. Christy in TN - The linked blog post is mine and while I have NO tried-and-true ways to get in I noticed a few things:

    1. If you know the management, you can probably score an interview. It appears the owner asked some of his best customers to do it.

    2. The interview people were told to be there at 3 but didn't get in until 4:30ish along with "the background crowd". I stood as close to the interviewer people as possible and because I had a "unique look" I was asked to come in. I guess wear stuff to try and stand out a bit (I have short hair and funky glasses). Also, don't come with a big crowd! I got into a great seat because I was by myself!

    3. Just show up early, meander and look interested in the proceedings. I chatted up a few of the production crew who went to the van a few times to get supplies.

  6. No worries on dissing N.Ky! Not familiar with Cincinnati, I guess. Greater Cinci area includes NKY (it's walking distance from downtown!), and the Cinci airport is even in KY.

  8. Anon 11:11, you're absolutely right. My experiences with Cincy are limited to what I learned on WKRP. :)

Locations in Lexington too! Have updated this post and will continue to do so. Keep in touch!

  9. There are cameras and a red mustang convertible at Rick's Diner on Bridge Street in Frankfort, Ky. (1:00 p.m. on March 17). I assume this is his next stop when he leaves Versailles (20 miles away) but we haven't seen Guy yet.
