Bid on Guy Fieri swag at fund raiser in Michigan

*Update* The fund raiser has been temporarily postponed. Stay tuned for more info as it comes in. TY.

If you'll be between Detroit and Flint, Michigan in late June and would like to help a charitable cause AND pick up some Guy Fieri swag, have I got the deal for you!

Young Paiden Goddeeris just turned 5 years old! At 8 months, he developed signs of severe autism, complicated by renal artery stenosis (wiki). The Goddeeris' have found a helpful oxygen therapy, but their medical insurance does not cover alternative medicine.

Friends and family of Paiden are holding a fund raising event on June 26, 2010 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. The event will include an all you can eat pasta/pizza meal, raffles, games, entertainment, bake sales, 5 stand and more.

Funds will be used to cover Paiden's treatments not covered under his insurance: Pure Oxygen Therapy at the Oxford Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Center and the possibility of a helper dog via 4 Paws For Ability.

The fundraiser lunch will be $5 per child 10 and under, $10 per adult, or $30 per family of 6 or more. Cash or check only please.

Lori and Guy Fieri have donated autographed merchandise for auction or raffle.
